James (Jay) Ricciardi began his career as a law clerk to the Honorable Daniel M. Waldman, J.S.C. (Ret.) of the Superior Court of New Jersey, which position provided him with extensive knowledge of New Jersey practice and procedure within the New Jersey State and Federal Courts. Since then, Jay has solely practiced in the area of insurance coverage and defense primarily in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Jay handles a variety of large exposure cases, including premises liability, products liability, commercial auto and trucking, negligent security, and Dram Shop, as well as a wide variety of insurance coverage litigation, including property, third-party liability and insurance coverage. Jay also handles subrogation recovery matters for several insurance company clients. Jay has had several published decisions, including 27-35 Jackson Ave., LLC v. Samsung Fire & Marine Ins. Co., 469 N.J. Super. 200 (App. Div. 2021), cert. den. (2022)
